Second day of work - Tuesday 25th of October

Today was a busy day, first we put the stoves we would place later that day together, and after that we went into the district to give out some folders to the all the men who had interest in playing chess. Pieter, who also went to Romania with the East-Europe comission, organized 3 afternoons in which he would give lessons on how to play chess, since he's the champion of Chess in a part of Groningen. During the giving out of the folders, we also visited the house of the old sponsor child of Pieter. The grandmother, who was taking care of her grandchildren was very kind and she even sent her daughter to the shop to buy us drinks, while she didn't even have a lot of money herselves, but she almost got angry with us refusing the drink, which was impressive to see. She lives in one of the bigger houses in the neighbourhood. Then we had lunchtime and after that we we went into the neighbourhood to place a stove, but nobody was there, and also not at a second address, so we made a call with our forst choice and we could place a stove there in like 15 minites, when they would be home. After that we movedgravel so concrete could be placed so that the trucks who take all the donations from the Netherlands could safely place the big containers. This was a big task so it took quite a big part of the afternoon to finish this. Then we made a small walk with Pieter back to the hotel and we had dinner at the hotel, and after that it was time to sleep.
