Forth day of work - Thursday 27th of October

Today it wasn't raining, fortunately. After a good breakfast we went to work on the wall of concrete, which we finished in the morning today. After we completed the wall, some of our group and a teacher who is working for St. Charis went into the district to look around how the people were living and also to invite men to the chess tournament again, since nobody came on Wednesday. When we were walking around we saw 3 pigs who were slaughtered. One of them was already stripped and the meat was being sold. The other two pigs were just slaughtered and the hairs of the pigs were burned off using a flamethrower. We also visited a mother with her 4 children, which were living in a small house with just 2 beds and a stove. This was very sad to see that people are living in such horrible conditions. The mother has 6 more children who are currently living in an orphanage. After we completed the walk through the district we had a good lunch and then we made more concrete for a ramp which needed to be made for trucks that deliver goods used to help the people in the district. This took the whole afternoon, so after that we had dinner at a pizzeria and then we went to bed.
